My Tree - The Twelfth Picture

10am, December 5th.  Bright sunshine, weather cold... and still recognisably My Tree.
Over the weekend I shall make a grand collage of all the pictures.
What next?
Should I continue with this tree or spend December looking for one to 'adopt' for 2026? This one has worked so well in terms of location
What do you think?

  1. Your tree looks good in December. I really like the pattern formed by the branches.

  4. Your tree is lovely! Why not give it another year and make a comparison next year?

  6. My oak tree still has many of it's autumn leaves. It always seems to lag behind other oaks in the area. There are pros and cons for choosing the same or different trees.... not very helpful!

  7. It's an almost perfectly balanced tree when it's seen this naked. I think you should find a different tree for next year or we will just have an 'action replay' of 2025. :-)

  9. Maybe stay with this tree but look out for another interesting one, although I love the shape of the current favourite. Did you know there is a programme on BBC4 on Thursday at 8pm about one of the Enigma code breakers, thought you might be interested because of your Mum. Xx

  10. The weather changes from year to year, so it might be interesting to continue with this particularly handsome tree and see if there are variations in the progress of budding, leaves, colour and so on, compared to this year's photos.
