Tomorrow is Pi Day aka World Mathematics Day.
We may or may not eat pie. Last week was British Pie Week, and we had Chicken Pie on Friday, and Steak Pie at my bro's on Sunday. There will be maths today, because there is maths every day in this house. Also there's going to be a Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse.
Hopefully it will be red and glorious to see.
A partial eclipse here in the UK, but total across the pond. I may possibly set the alarm and get up to watch it! Details HERE
A day of pies, maths, and moonlight...what more could you want?
Pies, maths and moonlight ... I think you have covered all the bases. ;-)

DeleteAll great except the maths. I can manage simple maths but have never "enjoyed" maths. My cousin who was a mathematics genius used to say to me "Maths are such fun!" , I never quite got that. Always much preferred words and language. Regards Sue H
ReplyDeleteI know others don't enjoy maths , but I really do
DeleteWe have steak and Guinness pie in our house tonight as it’s our daughter and her husband’s 50th birthday today and that was their request. I’ve made a quirk and bean casserole for me. Trifle to follow as that’s traditional in this house for birthdays-with party on the top ie sugar sprinkles. Catriona
ReplyDeleteOh how fabulous, especially the quirk and bean casserole! Is that Quorn or Quark ? (Don't you just love autocorrect!?)
ReplyDeleteQuorn and it was delicious! C

DeleteWe are supposed to be able to see the total lunar eclipse, but, the forecast calls for cloudy skies. I am thinking of making a peach pie for dessert, tomorrow. Daughter would prefer an apple pie, though. As for maths, daughter is the maths-loving person.
ReplyDeleteI apple pies often, peach pies rarely
DeleteI happened to get up in the night around 3.40 am, and as usual I looked out of the window and I was delighted to see the red moon with just a sliver showing.
