A quick update – Jo has kindly posted her recipe for a whole orange cake here. [3rd February blogpost] It is even quicker and cheaper than Nigella’s and contains no almonds [apparently there are people who do not like these superfoods]
The smiling fruit is because I have just remembered a senior teacher I worked for who was unable to see the mistake on the carol sheet she had prepared. She had included the line
