The inflatable slide from Anstey Castle Hire
The van from Steve’s Ices
These two worked so hard they deserved a treat!
Our intrepid chefs
And a Super Server
All good fun!
Last day - parachute games
The story was Daniel in the Lions’ Den – so the craft was making lion-pots and then planting up French Marigolds [which will look like lions’ manes when they blossom – well…sort of!] Wilkinsons sell cheap flowerpots which are a really bright orange colour. The manes are cut-up plastic straws. Googly eyes are optional!
Natalie made a splendid Space Book about rockets and aliens.
Fishcake asked about the collage shots- I use Picasa, which is free to download and brilliant for improving almost all my pictures! Sadly it won’t replace missing heads, or put things into focus, but it does just about everything else. And it is relatively easy to use too, the collage option is particularly useful for blogging lots of pictures.
I've loved reading about your holiday clubs for young and old.
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job, I know it was a lot of hard work. This reminds me of the "Vacation Bible School" that we have here. Ours was a great success this year. It was farm-themed and the message in the lessons was "God always loves you." Our granddaughters are somewhat new to church and they had a wonderful time. On the last day, they had the inflatable slide and even a small petting zoo!
ReplyDeleteI looks like you have had a wonderful week.
