One thing that really is concerning me is the toll this pandemic is taking on people's mental health. Look after yourselves, people! and then you'll be better equipped to help others too.
This is very true. I've been tired these past two mornings and I really am not an Autumn or Winter person so felt like crying on my cycle to work both days just from being blue.
ReplyDeleteOh Kezzie, I am sorry you're struggling. Keep going, the fresh air and cycling will help. You're not alone, I've just been listening to a guy on the radio talking about teachers being even more stressed than usual this year. Praying for you.
DeleteI'm fine. I couldn't explain to you why I was hit with the wave of sadness; I just felt it. Once I'm at school or home getting on with things it is fine. But thank you!

I take your point. And sometimes "you'll feel better if you just get outside for a bit" isn't the right thing to say to somebody who's REALLY feeling bad. I think that your "finding small pockets of joy" method is brilliant. Your blog is a constant reminder that in the long dark days, there are ALWAYS Small Moments which brighten the hours - a real encouragement to keep on tracing rainbows through the rain...
