That's My Girl!!
I taught Rosie the word phenomenal, and said it meant amazing, astounding or marvellous. Then I asked her if she could use it in a sentence - instantly she replied "My Mummy is phenomenal!"Yes she is indeed and we all love her so much. Happy Birthday, Liz - may your day be filled with joy and laughter. God bless you today and always
Happy birthday, Liz! Rosie is right!

Definitely strong family resemblance, altho Liz and Rosie (and George in Manchester) have inherited their great-grandma Almond's colouring
DeleteYou have added a big word to Rosie's vocabulary and I'm sure she will continue to find ways to use it. Happy birthday to Liz!

DeleteHow lovely! It's so good when children understand and use words. I remember 'soporific; being one of my son's first!
ReplyDeleteWas that from Beatrix Potter's Flopsy Bunnies, I wonder?
