Happy Birthday, Bob

Here's all the family at Cornerstones in the summer - Steph, Gaz, George, Jacob, Liz, Jon, Rosie [and Jess hidden at the back]

So here's Jess a couple of days later, instructing Bob in how to peg out the washing.
And here we both are with Julian at the Strumpshaw Tree Festival.
This is my family, these are my children - I love them all so much.

But most of all I love Bob, whose birthday is today!
Happy Birthday to the Paterfamilias

  12. as Henri Nouwen wrote:
"I think it is more important to selebrate a birthday than a successful exam, a promotion, or a victory. Because to celebrate a birthday means to say to someone: Thank you for being you." Celebrating a birthday is exalting life abd being glad for it. On a birthday we do not say: "Thanks for what you did, or said, or accomplished." No, we say, " Thank you for being born and being among us."

    Happy Birthday, Bob!

    Hugs!
