Half the holiday in Norfolk with the girls
Monday's Beaver Trail at Bkickling Hall, followed by lunch at The Whistles top café at Aylsham Station. Yes that Aylsham - now much more famous than it was a week ago. Also teaching Rosie how to embroider. Board games, and pancake party.
Word games, and Mousetrap, stories with Grandad.[when he wasn't fixing things and doing odd jobs] And some of us shared a nasty cold.
So lovely to spend so much time with our two daughters and their families.
Cornerstones is going to feel very quiet this week.

It sounds a delightful week!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was. Hope your half term was good too. How is CBC s gardening going? Looking forward to seeing what he plants this year
DeleteYou’ll be glad of the rest I’m sure after your energetic week. The cold/cough virus still keeps on giving and hope you are all recovering now. Your grandchildren are growing fast and it’s great that Rosie loves to learn ew skills from you. Very wet here this morning and I have a meeting! Catriona

ReplyDeleteMuch love and laughter all week
DeleteOur house felt very quiet last week after Iris had gone home, and the cat had the treat of sleeping on the bed with her. We were back to the school run today which Grandad did whilst I minded Baby C who is coming along nicely. Xx
ReplyDeleteA grandparent's work is never done !
DeleteThat looks like the most wonderfully chaotic time with lots of space to make good memories.
ReplyDeleteGlorious chaos!!!
DeleteWhat a lovely week. Although you may well be ready for a quieter week at Cornerstones now. Especially if you are dealing with the beginnings of a cold.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely planning to take it slowly
