Home again- to a fully functioning Broadband connection. My daughters celebrated the Jubilee on Sunday in their own inimitable ways. Mark and Steph went and watched the River Pageant in the rain [and saw the Queen at a distance – and Cilla Black close up!]
Steph painted her nails in patriotic colours [those nails are real – no acrylics here!] and sent me a photograph.
Liz – because it was Sunday – went and did her usual volunteer work at Battersea Dogs Home. She chose to walk the Corgis, as she felt the Queen would like that!
"“The Mill” visual effects agency produced an interactive Jubilee Corgi – story here. It raised quite a bit of money for BCDH
Much as I adored our stay at Cornerstones, I have enjoyed being home again and catching up on everybody’s Jubilee Blogposts. Things are going to look a little dull once all this bunting and bling is removed from the shop fronts, and garden fences.
We did eat our meal with the Union Jack Centrepiece tonight!
Hi Angela! The corgis are so sweet! I like the royal fingernails, too!
ReplyDeleteWow, impressive nails! (From one whose nails bend like paper.)
ReplyDeleteI love her nails and her hand is really elegant too.
