I've just put "Schlesisches Himmelreich" in the oven – a traditional regional dish that's eaten for lunch on Christmas Eve. In the evening, we'll have potato salad with sausages.

ReplyDeleteOur local 9ne supports the Teenage Cancer Trust. I was in another Aldi recently, who also has a TCT book table. I don't know if that charity has a link to Aldi...
DeleteThat is one of the sweetest portrayals of the Annunciation that I have seen. As for the cat, I like it. There is a puzzle for me in the book of Tobit (not in every bible, unfortunately), where a dog is mentioned at the beginning of a journey with the angel Raphael and at the return. I just wonder why it is there? Maybe the author was a dog lover and couldn't resist sneaking it in.
