It was an All Age Service on the theme of The Lost Sheep

We also had a bicycle in church!

Jonny has just cycled to Luxembourg on a Sponsored Ride for Christian Aid. The team of twenty raised over £15,000. He brought his bike up to the front and spoke about the ride and what will happen to the funds raised.

Here he is after the service [left] comparing bikes with Sean [in the helmet] Sean was about to start his ride back to Leicester [not quite as far!!]

Then we had a great lunch together [thanks, Gwen, Ken and team] and more discussion about re-arranging the front of the church to make it more useful/usable for worship.

[Shall we be installing sheepfolds and bike-racks, Bob?]

clef S-A Now I am off to lead a Harvest Festival Service For The Over-60s in another village. I expect therefore to be the youngest person present!

Bob has changed into his jeans and is up ladders sorting out stage lighting & PA for tonight. We have an evening with Clef Skyers-Aakerstrom – who is described as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter – her style is a mixture of jazz, rocky-blues and many other influences.

Watch this space…
