The Mothers' Union is running a new campaign
It looks brilliant. Our local MU decided to feature this, with a couple of other campaigns on their Festival Christmas Tree. I was asked to produce half a dozen mini books approx 3" x 2". Here they are
It was lovely to be asked to help. Women's Education is something I feel passionate about. And it is good to raise awareness [MU website HERE]
Those minibooks have turned out well, and, I assume, made from recycled materials!
ReplyDeleteOf course!!
DeleteThey look really good. I want to read them!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid the random, disordered pages cut from a cheap CS paperback don't make much sense
DeleteLove the mini books and the message they are promoting. Catriona
ReplyDeleteSo important - to teach a woman to read IS truly empowering
DeleteThese are fabulous! My mother was a member of the MU for over 60 years. I still have her pin.
ReplyDeleteHer mother and grandma were members too!

What a lovely memento
DeleteMy Mum was MU member for many years. I love your little books and I'm a great encourager of children reading and I buy Iris books all the time, found her another Diary of a Wimpy Kid in a charity shop yesterday. 50p well spent. Xx
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to see them loving to read?
DeleteI'm all for promoting literacy, and in some countries girls and women fall by the wayside where learning is concerned. I hope the campaign can help.
ReplyDeleteMe too
DeleteLooks a great campaign! Kx
