My Prayers For You in 2016

I love this ancient Irish blessing

I also love the fact that just a few miles from our home in Dorset is this little lane with a fabulous name...

May this be a road down which you travel in 2016 - wherever you live!

  1. That would be a great place to live!!! I wonder what the story behind that street name is. Do you have any idea?

  2. What an amazing lane! I too would like to know the story. We live near 'Truelove's lane'. There's a beautiful song version of the Irish blessing, is it by Bob Chilcott??x

  3. Yes that is a fabulous name for a lane. I am sure you will tell us if there is a story behind how it got the name.

I just saw today that your bible verse on the right is Isaiah 43 - I have some serious health problems and this verse gives me such comfort.

    Thank you for your blog.

  7. I've always wanted to live in 'Ann Street' which is the most desireable and expensive street in Edinburgh but it's highly unlikely at this rate. Have a good week, Angela. xxx

    1. There is an Almond Street in Leicester, but I would not want to live there. Also a Kate Street, and when it was redeveloped, my friend Kate's family managed to acquire the old street sign for her.
