Easter Eggs

 My French hen has a sister!

  2. It IS the one I sent you! The finished hen is almost twice the height of the little box the kit comes in. The"filled in" chain stitches are quite fiddly

  7. They are pretty. The only bit which seems wrong are the horizontal stitches at the neck. Vertical stitches in the direction of feathers would be better. They remind me of my Sussex hens.

    1. I take your point. I just followed the kit pattern, but maybe some downward pointing "feather stitches" will appear on subsequent birds.
