Whoever, wherever you are,
may your day be filled with love
if your heart aches, for a lost love
may you be comforted by good memories
if you are self-isolating, and feel alone
know that there are friends out there who care
one day we will get to meet up and hug again
be pro-active...phone a friend
smile [with your eyes, if you have a mask on!]
make someone laugh
say something kind to a stranger
That's lovely!

DeleteHappy St. Valentine's Day, Angela.
ReplyDelete👍❤️ And to you, Bless
DeleteWe don't 'do' Valentine's Day, but my husband has just brought me flowers - he brought two pots of crocus (which I planted), from the greenhouse to a table by the back door, so I could see them! Isn't that sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful (and longer lasting than ut flowers)
DeleteLovely thoughts Angela, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThis should be a day for love all round, not just romance for few
DeleteHappy Valentine's Day!

DeleteI just read the history of St. Valentine. He secretly married lovers in the 200s and emperor Claudius had him beheaded. Meanwhile Hallmark has prospered tin recent years! Beautiful thoughts, Angela, we need authentic love in our world. Happy Valentine's Day to you and Bob.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bushlady. Rosie and I have been crafting some cards, rather than purchasing them
