This is a lovely motto, and a good reminder at a time when so many schemes continue to be curtailed, and plans re-evaluated in the light of the restrictions upon us all. We can all do our bit. Every little helps.
But in case you think that Mother Teresa said it - she probably didn't! What that good lady possibly* said was "I don't do great things. I do small things with great passion"
I like that quote too. Thank you Christine for my thought provoking new calendar!
**I checked out various Catholic Websites, and even the 'official' ones do not seem to agree.
Such a great quote, whatever it was that she said!

DeleteA lovely quote and something we would do well to hold in our heads.

DeleteI have a friend who has dementia. Her husband of at least 60 years of marriage has just been hospitalized. The divorced wife of one of their family took the trouble to drive 2 hours in freezing weather to visit her and bring her comfort. The impact of that loving gesture was overwhelming and meant so much to her - far more than could have been imagined by that kind soul.
ReplyDeleteThat was such a loving thing to do
