Blossom Where You’re Planted

The KM Parish Council has suggested local groups might like to sponsor planters in the village. So we have…

This is at the junction just opposite our chapel, on the corner next to the green metal seat. We just pay for it – the contractor chooses and maintains the flowers. We’ve got another by the Parish Church

Three questions remain

  1. Why the unnecessary capital ‘S’?
  2. Could that chap have parked his van any closer without actually touching the box [yes, it is parked right up on the pavement!]
  3. Will the meeting tonight to appoint six temporary councillors help sort out the current parlous state of this group? Hope so!

  2. 1. Soon the English language will abandon apostrophe's and capital Letters because they are two difficult for us' all.

  3. The capital "S" gives it almost an 18th-century feel - weren't capital Letters scattered Lavishly about during that Era? :)
