ReplyDeleteAn excellent video. Advent is a beautiful time, but not easy for a believer to celebrate as such, unless the whole family is on board. Nevertheless the message doesn't change because of lack of interest. Ironic that the consumer madness ramps up at the very time when the miracle is about to happen, Christ born anew in our hearts. I remember decades ago a Christmas sermon about how Jesus comes into our hearts no matter what our circumstances. If only we realized that for Him, it is the poor and marginalized who are His special concern, and no amount of sophisticated decor will bring Him closer, only a heart made ready.
