Tracing A Rainbow

As most of you probably know, my blog gets its name from a verse in an old hymn “I trace the rainbow through the rain, and feel the promise is not vain, that morn shall tearless be” I do believe that however bad a day might be, whatever awfulness there is, God’s love and presence is still with me…and one day [maybe not the next day, but one day] all will be put right, there will be justice, and God will wipe away every tear [Revelation chapter 7]

My dear friend Katherine has been on holiday in Canada/USA, and posted the most amazing picture this week. The day before the 9/11 anniversary, this rainbow shone over the World Trade Centre site.

God bless and comfort all who mourn, and give them hope for the morrow – and may light and joy break through their sadness.
