I love Julia Donaldson's work, and especially The Gruffalo. Sadly her stories came out a little too late for Liz and Steph's childhood - but I cannot wait to read them to Rosie!
You may have seen The Stick Man on TV at Christmas- with a stellar cast providing the voices - Martin Freeman, Jennifer Saunders, Hugh Bonneville, Russell Tovey, Rob Brydon et al.
This is a lovely prize to have won, and will give a lot of pleasure all round. Thank you Forestry Commission!!
Ah, that's lovely! I'm up very, very early. Ofsted!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Angela!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. We are doing Julia Donaldson stories in year 2 at the moment. We also have an incubator full of eggs and pots of wriggling caterpillars in the classroom!
