Bonne Maman

I saw this definition in a shop in Paris - printed on a small zipped bag
Mother - a woman who voluntarily carries out a set of tasks which should normally be carried out by around twenty people. [see also magician, superheroine]
If they had not been quite so expensive, I would definitely bought a pair, for Liz and Steph. To all you Mums out there - thanks for all you do, keeping your families together [and doing loads more besides].

Well done, keep going, you are amazing women!

  1. How true and they learned from a great example. As my late mother always said-the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.❤️ Catriona

  4. I'm a little behind on my blog reading this weekend, and I tried to comment yesterday but I pad wouldn't do what I wanted it too!
I wanted to answer your question about the Castile soap Ang. I bought mine from The soapery, online, other suppliers are available 😀
It gets cheaper the more you buy but I got 1 litre which was £9 . 49 includes postage. This should last a long time and I suppose given that a bathroom trigger spray cleaner costs between £1 and £3 depending on type , it isn't too bad. Much better for the environment but does feel like a hefty pay put initially.
Thanks for your Sunday post too.

  6. I see my DIL over the years caring for DGD in many ways and working out of the home 4 days a week as well. She is the heart of the home.

Just this morning at church watching some of the Mothers chasing kids, I thought some of you need capes.
