I made Jess a Fairy Princess dress for her birthday present [as she requested] I had fabric leftover. So my littlest great niece is getting one too. I delivered it when we met up on Monday.
Yes, it is that pattern again - so sweet!

They are both going to be thrilled with those lovely dresses. As a little girl I would have loved the heart shaped buttons. I had a red and white gingham dress made by my Nana, that came with it's own little bolero jacket. The dress had white heart shaped buttons and I loved it.
ReplyDeleteOh how delightful. I remember with fondness the outfits my Nana made me.
DeleteThat's a lovely fabric, and a most successful dress pattern. You do make the sweetest clothes for the little ones in your family.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun, especially sorting through my vast button collection to find the right embellishments
DeleteWhat lovely gifts for your family and yes I agree about Pound fabrics. Catriona
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased with their haberdashery (eg bias binding) as well as the fabrics. And I like the way you can see pictures of how other people have used the fabrics
DeleteSo pretty! Maybe one for Grandma to match??
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit beyond 🧚♀️ "fairy princess" 👑 ... Can I be. "Faerie Queen Mother"?! 🧚👸
DeleteWhat a pretty pattern and great fabric. I think you could easily be "Faerie Queen Mother", you certainly wave a magic wand with your sewing. Regards Sue H
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue !
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable!!

DeleteWhat a lovely fabric. I remember a dress I had when little, it was red and white with a pattern of farmyard animals on it. There was a red border round the skirt hem with all the animals going round. I often wondered what happened to it. My sewing today consisted of taking in the sides of a t-shirt someone passed on, it floated on me, but was my size. Xx
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lovely dress! Good to give the teeshirt another chance
DeleteOh what pretty dresses. The girls will love them. Clever you. I shall have to look for Pound Fabrics x
ReplyDeleteThus far I have found them very reliable
