Plum Job

The wonderful bouncy slide which we hired from Anstey Castles – they are a brilliant company and I’d happily recommend them. The kids had a great time at the barbecue, playing on this. [So did I!] But before you can put up the inflatable, you have to make sure the base area is OK – so here is Bob, on Thursday afternoon, pressure washing the car park, having first swept away all the fallen squashed plums. The pressure washer will be in use again first thing this morning – we hired a gas BBQ, and are required to return it clean and spotless! Let us spray…

  1. Kid just love bouncy castles. My youngest brother and soon to be wife have just set up in business with bouncy castles (they have 4) and doing well during this fine weather we are having.
Do you ever collect the plums?

    1. Oh yes- I have about 10lbs of bottled plums in the kitchen and 3 plum crumbles in the freezer. Other church folk are collecting and using them too - there are just SO many this year!

  3. I do hope you have both survived in one piece. I am making a slow return to Blogland, and am comforted to find its annual rituals still in place!
