And here is one from the 1870s

Whatever the weather, may you bask in the sunshine of God's love today

  2. Thank you, dear Angela.
I wish you a great Sunday too.
We are having a wonderful summer this year, now the sun is shining and every meal is served outside on the terrace - this afternoon it will start to rain, so the plants in the garden don't need to be watered and it will be wonderful for the nature around.

p.s. Yesterday I baked bread and croissants for drinking coffee (and I warmed three croissants again for breakfast today - so delicious :-)))

  5. Sun shining here in Staffordshire, not too hot and nice to work outside in. I must thank you for the Peanut Jones book recommendation, I found a copy on Amazon for Iris and had it delivered to her. She absolutely loves it and when I told her how I found it, she asked me to say thank you to Rosie, so please pass the thanks on. Hugs Xx

  7. Thanks for the hymns. Even when it is overcast, the sun is still shining, and even when we don't feel God's presence, He is still there! Happy Sunday!
