Money Laundering?

Getting up surprisingly early on Easter Monday to sort out a load of washing is a good and commendable activity for someone attempting to be a Proverbs 31 Homekeeper.

Forgetting that your husband tucked a £5 note in his best white shirt pocket at church yesterday morning, and putting that shirt in a bowl of hot soapy water is not so praiseworthy!

  1. Mmmm, I've done just the same thing! They dry quite well!

  2. oops!!

Do you get to keep that? I had a rule - if it's in the laundry, it goes to the launderess :)

  3. No I can't keep it - the money was given to Bob to pass on to a Worthy Cause, and I am afraid that I do not count!!

  4. Ah, it happens all the time in this house. I claim all cash for myself (except any pegged for a Worthy Cause, of course), but return all lip balm tubes. I suppose the blessing of having boys is that I'll never have to worry about lipstick making it into the dryer (one hopes) ...

Always glad to hear from you - thanks for stopping by!
