Six Years Old!

Six years old today- we are so proud of you. You are a thoughtful, friendly boy, with a great sense of humour, and such fun to be with. We hope you have a wonderful day. God bless you always - lots of love from Big Grandad Bob and Little Grandma Angela

  4. He looks great! My grandson was also 6 a few weeks ago. Wonderful to see these children born in the shadow of Covid, blossoming and doing well.

  5. Happy Birth- Day to George and his lovely Mum who did all the work!!!
I'm catching up with your posts - the Marsh family are just brilliant but gah what a terrible election result!! It's time for the main parties to wake up and smell the coffee! There were no elections for us as ours was last year and sadly Reform got in ๐Ÿ˜
Thanks for sharing the craft book as I'm looking for a way to mend a huge hole in my jeans just above the knee! I will have to see if I can borrow it from the libary.
Thanks also for the reminder to 'Keep on Keeping On' as I'm really struggling with missing Mum and somedays I feel like this huge grey cloud is over my head - I think there was a whole 'Flumps' episode about such a thing hanging over Posy's head ๐Ÿ˜€. I'm off to find the episode on Youtube to cheer me up ❤️
Hope you and Bob have a lovely day xx

    1. Dear Sandra ASnn, thank you for all your comments- I am sorry that life's tough right now. Sometimes when we are missing someone special it IS like a cloud hanging over us all the time, and we cannot always understand why others get on with life so cheerfully.
I share Sue In Suffolk's frustration that THAT party is apparently taking over East Anglia.
We were able to facetime George first thing this morning. He is at a friends party today, and will have his own tomorrow. Steph's busy making two cakes- one for the event and one for the party bags.
I hope you can enjoy the sunshine this weekend too ❤️

    2. But now I am Six,
      I'm as clever as clever,
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.

  6. Happy Birthday George. I remember you writing about his birth during that horrible Covid time, and how well Steph and Gaz coped with having a newborn and not being able to show him off. We are hoping that Baby C will be joining our family as his natural Mum has no interest in him and has agreed to adoption. Fingers crossed. Xx

  9. Happy Birthday George.
Will never forget when our Covid baby, my grandson, was born a week before lockdown and having to walk away from their front door after, my first visit, with them all standing there waving goodbye and not knowing when I would get to see them again. That was really tough.

  10. I agree, not being able to visit and hold him straightaway as I did with the other grandchildren was tough

    1. On the plus side, my daughter-in-law said it was a lovely time with just the three of them without the comings and goings of an endless stream of visitors!
