Fun In The Sun

Just a few pictures of last week’s Ruby Wedding event. As soon as I had got back from preaching, Bob and I went down to the party, arriving just before 1pm. We sat under a lovely gazebo, in Frank and Barbara’s back garden, for lunch.

Then Frank made a speech…

…and he and Barbara cut the cake

Dessert was a delicious assemble-it-yourself Eton Mess

Sadly we had to leave the party early, as Bob was preaching on Sunday night…but it was good to celebrate with the family.

    1. Now that would have been a great sword to use - was it his, or borrowed?

    2. Borrowed from the Archbishop of Canterbury's son whose house Dad celebrated his birthday in.

    1. It did make life easier for the family to have an outside caterer, they were able to enjoy chatting and not worry about the cooking!
