Do This In Remembrance Of Me

Two thousand years ago, Jesus shared a Passover Meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. He said "Whenever you eat and drink together, remember me". This event has many names throughout the Church - Mass, Eucharist, The Lord's Supper, Breaking of Bread...and in my tradition, it is often just called communion - because we come together to share in this declaration of faith. This year, we cannot physically come together - but we invite you to join us as we celebrate together [the whole service lasts about 17 minutes] Find some bread, and something to drink...and maybe light a candle.

  1. I enjoyed listening to the hymn you share here; my church is gathering via live streaming for services and Zoom for small groups. That is a blessing of modern technology. Be safe my friend.

  5. That was a very moving service, Bob and Angela. I feel very privileged to have been able to watch it. That was something very intimate and personal, on many levels, which I, as an observer, haven't noticed in a Church service.

On a less serious note, I liked Bob's tie, very much!

Happy Easter to you and yours. Good health and many blessings.
