Bad Hair Days

Now I have been seen on the back of the motorbike thus…

…but recently I have rediscovered a product I was very fond of in my teens

batiste

I frequently used to have a can of Batiste Dry Shampoo in my bedroom through my A level and student years. It was so useful on those days when I didn’t have time to wash my hair.

I haven’t used it for years although Steph had mentioned it a few months back. I saw this can for £1.50 in the summer and bought it ‘in case’. In the past couple of weeks I have used it twice – and I have to say it seems even better now than it did back in the 70s.  I applied it in the morning, and my hair felt [and looked] good all day, until I had time to shampoo in the evening.

Have you ever rediscovered a product and found it just as good [if not better] than it used to be?

  1. Oh my... I remember those "magic" cans when I was in University too!
You know... I am always doing that with food - remembering food I really like that I forget to make for months on end. As a matter of fact, I'm going to buy spinach today for that very reason! Sounds funny I know by spinach with butter and a twist of lemon... I'm craving it and haven't had it for about a year!
    Blessings!

  2. The pictures were taking a few minutes to load so I read your post and then went back up and took a look at the first photo and burst out laughing! I can so relate some days. lol

  3. Usually it's the other way round - things don't seem as good as they used to. Or possibly my tastes/standards have changed? :)

P.S. Have you ever tried cornmeal as a dry shampoo? (Oatmeal also works.) Rub it into the oily areas and brush well to remove.
