Fortunately the extreme migraines I suffered in my youth are very rare these days, and prompt action when I do get the warning signs helps a lot. Wednesday’s malaise was nothing like as bad as it might have been. I felt bad about letting the class down, but teaching would have been impossible. Very grateful to my loving, tolerant and patient husband, for his understanding and support. And because I was sensible yesterday, I will be OK today in school – and should manage to last out through tonight’s Parents’ Evening too.
