    A beautiful prayer, Angela. I think someone should send this prayer to a few people in power in our government, over here. Our government shut down is hurting so many ordinary people!

    Many here in the UK are fed up with our government too - but I cannot imagine the pain your shutdown is causing right now. I had not realise that many 'essential' government workers are continuing to do their jobs unpaid - and now facing eviction, and struggling to buy food & meds. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Human nature is to think about ourselves first. Christianity teaches us to think about others first for that was what Jesus did.
