Tonight's The Night

 This made me chuckle

I always intend to go to bed an hour earlier,  but somehow never manage it.
And it is usually a couple of days before all the clocks in the house get adjusted.

  1. Most of our household clocks are radio controlled now so it's a bit of a non-event for us, although our kitchen clock for some reason seems to take anything up to several days to wake up to the change, the others happen pretty much on time. And the lighter evenings seem to be more than just an hour's worth of extra light after the change!

  2. Bright and sunny this morning. Looking forward to the partial eclipse between 10 and noon 🌞

    1. Unless our weather in the North East improves dramatically, that's going to be a non-event - currently thick cloud and that forecast to continue.

  4. Our oven is a blighter to change the timer! Grr! Our car which we got last year changes itself yay. The rest of our clocks/devices are easy or change themselves. Sunny weather forecast for the week ahead here, hope it is for you too. Regards Sue H

  6. Misinterpreted this entirely, partly because I woke convinced it was Sunday and was enjoying leisurely Mothering Sunday sunny morning. Dumbfounded to find my watch had sprung forward an hour to match my phone... dawning realisation...

  7. The only clock I have trouble with is the car clock. I have to watch a Youtube video each and every time! JanF

  8. Most things in the house change themselves so it will be interested to see if the newly fitted boiler resets itself. Too cold here for outside work so I had to do some crafting instead. Catriona

  9. Having the car clock wrong for 6 months would drive me nuts! luckily it's easy to change - once I've remembered how.

  10. Our clocks went forward on March 8/9 weekend, and today DH remarked proudly that he had finally figured out how to change the clock on the truck. This time I tried something new. On the Saturday, an hour or two before supper time, I put all the house clocks forward, and my watch. It wasn't long before I thought, oh, time's getting on, I'd better start supper, and it felt a bit late. But from then on the evening seemed normal and we went to bed around the usual (as it felt) time, and for once I felt more in control of this ridiculous abomination!

  11. I laughed out load about the car clock. My late husband never altered his. (A
gentle and fond memory.) My little car is a basic model, no clock so no decision to make.

  12. Any ideas how to reset a dog who wakes up at six most mornings? :-)

  13. I found it hard enough to reset the children, no idea about dog clocks! 🐕⏰

  14. We, too, changed to daylight savings time in early March. My sleep schedule is already so messed up, that it didn't make much of a difference to me.
