I was looking again at old photos. It is hard to believe it is two years since Rosie came to Grandma's School at Cornerstones during lockdown! She's grown up and learned so much more in the time since then. But what fun we had together in that crazy summer...Maths, literacy, science, art... Unicorns, Dinosaurs and lots moreI shall treasure these memories for the rest of my life.

Both you and Rosie are lucky to have had that time together. What a lovely grandmother you are.
ReplyDeletethank you Pam
DeleteYou are an amazing grandma
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that Rosie will also treasure the memories of days at Grandma's school.
ReplyDeleteI do hope so
DeleteSuch unusual but precious times!
ReplyDeleteIndeed- sunshine even in dark times
DeleteRosie will too.
ReplyDeletethank you Philip
DeleteI tell my daughter, who is a mother of two, that she is helping to create her children's childhood memories now.
ReplyDeleteWe who are privileged to have families must take time to show love to those who do not.
ReplyDeleteI think you definitely do that, Ang. I benefit from your friendship and kindness.
DeleteThank you Jan. I value your friendship too ❤️
DeleteThere are some things I really miss about the lockdown — ordering groceries, feeling cozy at home and spending time with my Bean — we did school as well, everyday, and I miss that time with her. Your little student is adorable!
ReplyDeleteSome of us loved homeschooling - others genuinely found it hard.
DeleteRosie is blessed to have a talented teacher/grandmother who was there for her during that difficult time.
ReplyDeleteI was so grateful to be able to enable her parents to get on with working from home knowing she was being looked after
DeleteThat turned out to be a very special time, didn't it? Something positive to come out from that time. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, let's celebrate the positives
