Indescribable…

mountain top

From the highest of heights

coral seabed

to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
autumn leaves

From the colours of fall

daffodils

to the fragrance of spring

nightingale
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming
Indescribable, uncontainable,

stars
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

lightning
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

snow
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

sunshine
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

night
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom
Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

You are amazing God
You are amazing God

calvary

  1. I love that song. I'm going to listen to it right now. I was reading Isaiah 50: 10 and 11 and reminded that HE will light the fires. If I do, I will lie down in despair.

  3. Angela, I had to come back and tell you that your comment made me laugh! The Agas in all the Rosamunde Pilcher books have probably caused many romantic Americans to regret their big stove purchases as the fuel is VERY expensive and it takes them so long to learn how to use them.
I can actually buy British Country Living here, even though it's an issue behind. To subscribe costs a small fortune, so I just buy them as a treat when I go to the book store.
I hope you are having a nice Sunday. I did listen to Indescribable after I read your post.
