For The Beauty Of The Earth...

These lovely flowers came from Bloom and WildBloom And WildEven after a week they still look gorgeous. I hope to get some pictures of the flowers at the Harvest Thanksgiving later. The last few days have been quite busy, but it is always good to stop for a moment and reflect on such beautiful things. The Apostle Paul's words Philippians 4:8, in "The Message", read like this...
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

  1. Lovely flowers, thankyou so much for sharing. When I clicked on the website, out of interess, it was to find that I qualify for a £10 voucher if I order flowers within a week as I'd been introduced to B & W by you. What a lovely surprise! Hope you have time to recuperate after another busy week. PS, I don't often comment, but always stop by. :)

  4. Flowers are always so welcome. I was at a friend's 60th birthday party last weekend and she sent a number of us home with small vases full of pink roses and hydrangea and they have kept wonderfully. I am in the middle of a big cleaning binge - swapping Summer & Winter clothes and shifting things between my apt. and storage locker so my apt. is a total mess at the moment - but I've promised myself that once it is all sorted (by the end of the week) that I am going to treat myself to another small bouquet for the dining table!

  5. That quote is a good one. Very important to live up esp when I spend time moaning about children.
