No Inflatable Santas In MY Garden, Thank You

So here is the Lathe Palace. We started painting the weatherproof three weeks ago, but haven't quite finished it yet. As you see, on the left, Bob's workshop, on the right, the "Carriage House" [my little Toyota parked inside]. The Workshop is accessed from the back garden, it is very secure, and we also have a camera at the side, so we can keep an eye on visitors.

But I did feel that the right hand part looked awfully like a stable - so those bits and pieces I mentioned yesterday have been repurposed. Bob has added lighting [on a timer] and my Christmas Tableau is in place. At least one neighbour has already said how much she likes it.

[in case you are wondering, the Toyota is stuck behind the curtain, and the Skoda will be parked outside for the next 3 weeks!]

    1. We live in a quiet close, so not many people go past.

  7. Marvelous.

There is clearly an additional wise man (Bob) and a wise woman (you) behind this scene. :)

  9. I never use paper or cards with Santa - not what Christmas is about. I'll never forget going to Christmas Eve service at the cathedral and the Dean's sermon was that Santa is a bad man!... Season's Greetings

    1. As Liz pointed out to a Sunday School teacher once, Santa is an anagram of satan!
