We made gingerbread biscuits. Rosie and Grandma Ang rolled and cut the dough. Dad and Grandad Bob helped with icing and decorating. Mum did the taste testing.
We cheated a little - Liz brought premade dough from ScandiKitchen, which saved a lot of time. But it did taste very good.
What a fun family project!
ReplyDeleteTHat's a real family affair! Hope that you enjoy the continued eating! I'm not really into Gingerbread as Ginger tends to give me pins and needles in my tongue but I have a friend, Emily, who is a professional Gingerbread maker-she's sold in Harrods. Have a look at her website, she's made Castle Howard and lots of other amazing buildings, just google 'Maid of Gingerbread' x
ReplyDeleteI had my tribe around my kitchen table yesterday and it was mighty fine......then they all left again!!Must try and get some of that dough. My eldest boy had hair exactly the same as Rosie's when he was that age. Now most of it is on his chin these days!!I wonder if his new baby will have same hair colour. We'll find out in March.Happy New Year to you, Angela.x
