Lost For Words

Yesterday's post about beans generated so many interesting comments. Thank you.
My decision to take things slowly on Friday was definitely a good one. The last three days have been utterly crazy. All sorts of unexpected events. I'm writing this late on Monday night - and unable to marshal my thoughts into a coherent blog post. Jess has been here, dressing up again... Auditioning for a Scottish Widows ad this time, I think
Tomorrow I will try to write a proper post! We are fine, just in need of some breathing space.

  1. Looks like Jess can dress up as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween! Take it easy and post when you can. :)

  4. My Grandma Hall used to say "Don't go so fast that your soul cannot keep up with your body! Take your time to slow down and breathe.
Keeping up with small children will wear you out!

    Hugs!

  6. I did all that on my own when the girls were little but I was not nearing 70 as I am today! I still collect the older two on Thursdays from school and bring them to mine for tea until their Mummy picks them up after work. My other daughter-in-law, the mummy of the three year old has asked me to.look after him NEXT November, early on Thursday mornings. She says I can go to theirs on the Wednesday evening and stay the night (they don't live near me). Let me tell you, I'm thinking hard about that one!I've also just had a communication from my besties daughter in New Zealand to say that her and her three children and her youngest sister have just booked their flights to UK for NEXT August and can't wait to see me! I haven't responded to that! I feel my life's calendar is being filled up by other folks!

    1. Goodness, other people are setting your agenda for you, aren't they? I hope you're able to set a few boundaries. We don't have the energy we had 20 years ago!
