The King's Grandfather [George VI] was apparently fond of advising people to "Sit down whenever you can"
Many schools will break up for Half Term this afternoon. So today I'm taking things easy and building up my strength before the arrival of two very active young ladies from London. I'm sure they will keep me busy for a few days.
Good luck!!! You'll love it!😁 Kx

DeleteSounds like a good idea to rest before you have to look after your granddaughters! Knowing you, you've probably a list of activities planned all out and they are going to love it! Enjoy your time with them.

DeleteWishing you a wonderful half term with your lovely grandchildren. I expect you will need a week off afterwards! However I am sure fun times will be had by all. God bless Sue H

DeleteOur pupils and my daughter go back to school and work on Monday. They haven’t had great weather for their autumn break and now comes the long term up to Christmas. I’ll enjoy reading about your adventures with your lively young ladies. Catriona
ReplyDeleteWeather here currently Very Wet. Town car park was like a paddling pool... 🌧️☔🌧️
DeleteSounds like a very wise plan. Hard to believe it's nearly half term already!

DeleteLove the socks! In a long ago Dherry Ames, Student Nurse book I read "A nurse never stands when she can sit, and never sits when she can lie down. I've taken that to heart!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the busy and delightful grands!
Hugs!
Oh! I loved the Cherry Ames nursing books when I was about 11. And Sue Barton (the English equivalent) But I could never have been a nurse-no good with needles, or too much blood...
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest and then a good time with the young ladies from London!
