Bob is getting very keen on this breadmaking lark!
I asked if he was going to change careers and become “An Artisanal Baker” – and Bob asked if it was possible to be an Artisanal Preacher!
I wish I knew how to post ‘baking aromas’ on the blog. That really would make your mouth water.
Bob looks like he's having a lot of fun! How nice for you both to have a holiday after working so hard for so long.
ReplyDeleteAngela, I really like Anne Tyler's novels. She has sort of a quirky style and the way she develops her characters is completely entertaining. I liked Morgan's Passing, Ladder of Years, Accidental Tourist . . . all of them, really. She isn't one of those American authors that goes out promoting herself. She's very private and leads a quiet life. I read an interview she did via email and she said that she gives herself one year to recover in between books. I'm finding that I have become very picky about what authors I read. Nice to hear from you!
Thanks for the recommendations, PP - I shall check out the lbrary when I get home next week!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you both use your loaf a lot! That looks scrummy. Cal x
ReplyDeleteI second Pom Pom's Anne Tyler recommendation!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the idea of an artisanal preacher. Tell Bob to go for it!
