Then a few days later it rained heavily and the posters ran. I had to take them down and make fresh, smaller ones so the holes in the laminated sheets were not through the paper! Bob took me round in the car to save time. We had lots of visitors in the village on Saturday for the fireworks so it was important to get the adverts out there.
[nb I blotted out my address on the photo, in case you were thinking I'd omitted it from the poster! then absently minded posted the wrong picture. Thank you for the early birds who pointed it out!!]
I hope you get many customers to buy all the lovely things you and Bob have made!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bless, I wish you lived near enough to visit!

DeleteHello Angela,
ReplyDeleteI am able to see the address on the poster - you might need to re-blot. Good luck with your pop up shop. It's a bit far for me to get there since I am in Melbourne!

DeleteHi Angela, I can see your address in that top photo. Good luck with your sale!

DeleteAnd thank you to Kezzie and all others who've alerted me to my typo!
ReplyDeleteGood advertising and knowing where they are so that you can go round and remove them is vital, so many people just don't bother removing them after the event.
ReplyDeleteThe secret to weather-proof signs is double laminating, once before you've made the holes and then again after.
😉
DeleteGreat idea to advertise when the area was busy. Fingers crossed for fine weather for the sales. I have just finished 10 lavender hanging decorations this morning using our own lavender and some christmas scraps. Catriona
ReplyDeleteLavender decorations are lovely, especially if you grew the blossoms yourself
DeleteI hope it goes really well for you after all the hard work
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
Thank you
DeleteGreat posters. I imagine there will be a bit of excitement when people see them. Always nice to have a sale in the neighbourhood to liven things up!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to tell what the response will be.
