Holiday WIP

My friend Carole A was wearing a rather attractive cardi at church a few months back. I complimented her on it, and she promptly lent me the pattern [thanks C!]. It is Sirdar #9127, using ‘Escape’ yarn

  • I fancied this colourway [called ‘Luscious’] but it worked out at nearly £35 in the woolshop [KnitWits of Dereham].

Carole had used a King Cole “Mirage” DK and said it was considerably cheaper. I got some of the KC “Riot” yarn, and it was well under half the”Escape” price.

It is a relatively straightforward pattern, but what with fruit bottling, and reading, and family stuff, I have been going a week and not got too far yet. I have almost finished the back. Hoping to have it done by the Autumn! I am really happy with the way the random dyes are knitting up.
