Last night Liz decided to make a cake in my new tin – it was extremely good – lemony flavour, great texture…
As you can see, it literally ‘turned out’ well, with all those pointy bits!
Here’s her recipe [it made too much batter for the tin,so she made half a dozen fairy cakes as well]
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- grated zest of lemon
Mix batter well, and pour into prepared tin. Bake 30-35 min at 180ºC.
