Good and Faithful Servant

roger martinJust heard of the sudden death yesterday of Roger Martin - pastor of Stockton Tabernacle Baptist Church - and a good friend to me for forty years. He was a wonderful bloke - a great sense of humour, a constant source of wise advice and encouragement - and above all, someone whose love for Jesus, and eagerness to share that love with others, shone through in all he said and did.

He will be widely missed in the Baptist Family - and my prayers are with Liz, his sons, and the rest of the family today.
