And Sew To Bed

Sewing Club went ever so well tonight, and Sarah, Rose and Hannah finished their pjs. Then they displayed them on the tables and asked me to photograph them!

They made shorts, and then appliquéd patches of the fabric onto vests in order to make a matching set, and also trimmed them with bows. Here are some pics of their handiwork. I think they have every right to feel proud of their efforts - they have learned so much in the past year and worked hard to produce their first  garments!

Hannah's vest had a pretty lettuce-fill edge, and a motif on it - which she cleverly disguised with three patches of the shorts fabric.
